30 years ago I read a book by a famous American author, the book is called"The Dead Zone" A character in the play called Greg Estillsong came to my memory 30 years later. I do not want to force similarities between the character in the book and Donald Trump , but there are certainly parallels between the two; the lust for power at all costs, the conservative stance, and especially the use of violent methods to achieve their ends. Both characters are crude and even gross on some issues, but they smell the chance and animal instinct to select their victims and cronies. For the character of "Dead Zone" the important thing was to win power for power 'ssake, all methods were valid for him, especially violent and coercive. Most disturbing character was his appetite for confrontation which would makethe United States entered into a nuclear war with the Soviet Union.
American society is sick, just so it is understood that such a basic and as visceral as Donald Trump character, that all he offers is an uncertain future for the United States is about to become president of the nation.
